1. The first step towards obtaining your learners license is to prepare theoretically for the learners test. You can do this by reading and studying a book containing all this information.
One of the most used is “Pass your learners easily”.
You can buy it from shops like Pick n Pay (Randburg Square or Canterbury Crossing), Checkers / Checkers Hyper (Cresta or Randburg Junction), Exclusive Books (Cresta Shopping Centre), CNA (Cresta or Ferndale on Republic) & PNA (Brightwater Commons / Randburg Square).
Price: Expect to pay between R90 and R130 depending on whether you get the “Just the Test” version or the full manual.
Our clients may borrow it from Formula 1 driving school for free as well as the tests if they prefer printed version.
We are in a process of preparing our own electronic book which will be available soon for free for a convenience of our clients. From the book you will inform yourself about all rules of the road, road signs, regulatory signs, warning signs, guidance and information signs, road markings, traffic signals, additional signs, controls.
You don’t have to go to great details. Just obtain a general knowledge about the matter.
2. The second step towards obtaining your learners license is to practice the learners test containing the questions and answers. This tests are also free for all the learners.

Once you choose one of them you will be redirected to the test where you will find about 90 different questions in 1 question and answers scenario. You read the question and and click on the answer you think is correct. Once you click you will see if your answer is right or wrong. Complete each one of them. If necessary repeat many times.
